The idea behind color golf gloves.

Several of you still wear white golf gloves because you didn't know color golf gloves existed.  Either that or you're just not quite sure about getting out of your comfort zone.  Those that make the jump have found that the grass is much greener (literally) on the color side!

But still...where did the idea come from?  Here's our story...

In the fall of 2011, I was at sporting goods store and while I waited at the counter I was staring at a wall of golf gloves.  My eyes were drawn to the top right corner, black golf glove.  In a wall full of white gloves, it was the non-white glove that stood out.

Then it hit me, not only are there not many black golf gloves, why aren't there any other colors.  Rickie Fowler had just splashed onto the golf scene, so color was in, but not in golf gloves.  I found a couple companies that sold color golf gloves, but one was very expensive and the other was poor quality.  I decided to come up with golf gloves that not only were colorful, but were also durable and affordable for everyone.

That night I went home and started working through some ideas.  We created a product that uses precision-cut, tour grade cabretta leather.  This gave them an ultra thin feel and perfect fit.  After thoroughly testing at both amateur and professional levels, Bender Golf was born.
