The three white background areas of the flag represent the North, West, and South sides of the city.  The top blue bar represents Lake Michigan and the North Branch of the Chicago River.  The bottom blue bar represents the South Branch of the river and the Great Canal over the Chicago Portage.  

There are four red six-pointed stars on the center white bar.  Each one has its own meaning...Great Chicago Fire of 1871, World's Columbian Exposition of 1893, Century of Progress Exposition, and Fort Dearborn.

We use premium cabretta leather which needs to be dried slowly and evenly, that's why we suggest using one of our storage solutions to prolong the life of your gloves.  Find more details HERE.  *Note: The cabretta leather on all golf gloves (not just ours) is dyed.  Hand lotions, soaps, creams, etc. increase the chances of color fading and/or bleeding.
